I absolutely loved the idea, and the potential of it. ![]() ![]() Cel Output Post shows the post effect applied, giving a really light outline around the sofa. Looking further into it, it kinda gives me the same feeling I had when I first saw a demo of Octane, the GPU based real time renderer.Cel Output shows the render using just the Cel Surface effect - the sphere has an outline, but the sofa doesn’t.Can someone please suggest what I might need to tweak to get it to outline the silhouette as the post effect does (but stronger)?Īttached are my surface settings and the output: I have the outline effect set to ‘Use Camera’ and nothing else. Although I’ve got the colour shading working as I’d like, I simply can’t get it to outline each form - instead it seems to shade some faces black instead, rather than the silhouette. I haven’t got anywhere with the ArchiCAD rendering forum, so thought someone here might help!įrustratingly, the ‘Cel Render’ post effect offers no control over line width - it’s the same 1px faint line regardless of image resolution, which is really limiting. I’m trying to get my head around ArchiCAD 19’s CineRender engine - supposedly the same engine as Cinema4D uses (although there seem to be quite a few differences that I’ve found so far).
